General Information
Our 3.5kg CO2 Fire Extinguisher steps up from the 2kg size for larger electrical risk areas — server rooms, comms cabinets and switch rooms — while still discharging clean, non-conductive gas that leaves no residue on sensitive equipment.
Carbon dioxide is a non-conductive and non-corrosive gas used to reduce the amount of oxygen available to the fire. Carbon dioxide is extracted from the atmosphere and stored at high pressure in the liquid state within a fire extinguisher.

We replaced our our out of date fire extinguishers with these, they are so competitively priced it is cheaper to replace and recycle than it is to test and recharge older units. Plus older units can actually fail the testing, so you can spend up to $200 and still end up having to buy a replacement.
Being a smash repair shop these are also great for putting out spot fires to, unlike dry chemical extinguishers you can use as much as you need and there is no mess !
I suggest doing as we do and buy a spare or two, keep in the box, in storage, tagged ready to replace a used unit, if you are in an industry with regular, smaller spot fires, at this price it just works. Saves a call out fee from your fire company / inspectors.
