When to Use

F-500EA is a multiple-purpose firefighting agent ideal for Class A, B and F fires. It is the first agent proven to extinguish lithium-ion batteries without re-ignition, and is non-corrosive, non-toxic, non-hazardous and fully biodegradable. It is completely fluorine-free, containing no PFOA, PFOS or any fluorine ingredients, and is certified and approved to AS 4265. Suitable for the following types of fire:

• Class A – Paper, textiles, wood, most plastics & rubber
• Class B – Flammable liquids
• Class F – Cooking oils or fats

Make sure you have disconnected the lithium-ion battery from its charger/power point, or cut the power to your home, shop or factory. F-500 is water based and can conduct electricity — this extinguisher is not to be used on AC power (100V AC or higher) electrical fires.
