How to Request a Fire Extinguisher Recharge

At FireFX, we understand the importance of keeping your fire extinguishers fully charged and ready for any emergency. If you’ve recently used your fire extinguisher or noticed that the pressure gauge indicates it needs a recharge, follow these simple steps to request a recharge:

  1. Book Your Recharge Below: START A NEW ORDER FOR DISPOSALS DO NOT MIX WITH A PRODUCT ORDER. Select the extinguisher type and the qty you need recharged and add to cart. (do this for all the extinguisher types you will be dropping off to recharge)
  2. Freight: Enter the coupon “disposals” into the coupon field and apply to remove freight and acknowledge delivery to us is to be arranged from your end. We only offer recharges in the following warehouses. Stapylton (QLD), Beresfield (NSW), Rydalmere (NSW), and Knoxfield (VIC).
  3. Payment: Checkout and complete payment for your recharge order.
  4. Order Completion: Contact us for the warehouse address to drop your extinguishers into.
  5. Recharge Process: A trained technician will proceed with the recharge process – this generally takes 7–10 business days (can be longer, so please do not use this service if your requirements are urgent). They will assess the condition of the extinguisher, refill it with the appropriate extinguishing agent, and perform any necessary maintenance to ensure its effectiveness. Once completed we will contact you to collect.
  6. Follow-up Maintenance: To maintain the effectiveness of your fire extinguisher, we recommend scheduling regular maintenance checks and recharges as needed. Our team is available to assist you with any further inquiries or services you may require.

Our recharge service follows the manufacturer’s servicing requirements to help keep your fire extinguisher in good working order – regular inspection and testing by a qualified person remains the responsibility of the equipment owner.
