When to Use

This kit is designed for lithium-ion battery fires. The LI-ion Fire Solution extinguisher is a water type extinguisher with an encapsulator/cooling agent that performs exceptionally well against lithium-ion battery fires, and is also tested against Class A fires.

Ideal for batteries up to 4.8kWh. For larger risks, consider our 45 Litre & 90 Litre mobile extinguishers or contact us for more extensive protection options. Lithium-ion battery fires are highly aggressive, and it’s best to combat them with volume — if you have multiple or larger batteries, consider purchasing multiple extinguishers or opting for a larger type. General Information

Our Medium Lithium-Ion Battery Fire Kit pairs a larger Li-Ion Fire Solution extinguisher and fire blanket than the Small kit, sized for bigger battery packs and devices such as e-bikes, mobility scooters and larger power tool batteries in workshops and commercial settings.

The 1.2m x 1.8m fire blanket meets EN13501-1:2018 and Australian Standard AS/NZS 3504. It is rated for 550 degrees with a spike temperature of 750 degrees, which makes it perform well against the high temperature of lithium-ion battery fires.
